We have good news to share! The amazing Mrs. Meredith has made the decision to return to being a classroom teacher, allowing her to still pursue her passion for education and spend more time with her family. She has served the Heiman community so well! What makes us really happy is that we get to KEEP her! She will be teaching 3rd grade at Heiman next year! 

At the April 13, 2026, Board of Education meeting, our Superintendent announced the selection of Mrs. Kendra Mueller as the next assistant principal at Heiman starting in July 2026. Mrs. Mueller has 14 years of experience in District 6! From 2012-2019, Mrs. Mueller worked as a special education teacher with District 6. Since 2019, she has served as assistant principal at Centennial Elementary. Mrs. Mueller obtained her bachelor's degree in Special Education, and her masters in Intervention and Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. 

We look forward to everyone meeting Mrs. Mueller, and welcome her to our amazing school!
