Last week of school celebrations

There are a lot of events coming up.  All days will be full days of school.  If your child is involved in a special ceremony on one of the last days and you would like to take your child home early, please remember that you will need to check them out at the school office.

Thank you!

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you!  Our teachers and staff have felt the love from everyone over the course of the entire school year and especially during teacher appreciation week.  It has been a remarkable year at Ann K. Heiman Elementary and that is because of the support and partnership with our families.

Fifth Grade Celebration and Award Ceremony

Hello families of 5th grade students at Ann K. Heiman!  We are nearing the end of your child's elementary career and we want to celebrate.

  • The celebration will be on Thursday, May 23 at 2:00 in the gym.

  • Families are invited to attend

  • Students will perform a song they have been working on

  • Several students will receive awards for Achievement, Growth and Citizenship.

  • All 5th graders receive a medal

Road Construction

37th Street between Sienna and Stampede is completely closed. This is being done because there are contractors working on both sides of the road in the zone.

Traffic will be routed around the project area – North to 34 and south to 49th

We estimate this closure will be about a month.
