Meet Our SRO
AS your school Resource Office (SRO), I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and visitors. I look forward to working with you to create a safe and positive environment for our school community.
Who I Am
My name is Deidra Ramirez, and I am honored to serve as the SRO for the City of Evans. With 7 years of experience in law enforcement and a passion for working with youth, I am dedicated to supporting our school community. My role involves not only providing security, but also fostering positive relationships and promoting safety education.
My Role
As the SRO, my primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and security of the school environment.
- Serving as a resource for students, staff, and parents regarding safety concerns.
- Educating students on topics such as bullying prevention, internet safety, and substance abuse.
- Building positive relationships with students encourages trust and open communication.
- Assisting in emergency preparedness and response planning.

Motheread and Fatheread Colorado Changes Literacy Behaviors
Would you like to take a journey to Where the Wild Things Are? Would you like to a move a mountain by dancing? If yes, then this class is for you!
Motheread/Fatheread is a fun, free class designed for parents and families of kindergarteners and 1st graders. In these adult classes, families practice literacy skills and share strategies for creating a learning culture in their home and unique ways to enjoy reading together.
Join us for food, arts and crafts, games, music, laughter, friendship and much more as you meet fellow families and connect over children's literature.
