Birthday Celebrations!
When a student has a birthday at Ann K. Heiman Elementary School, we always announce the student's name during the morning announcements and invite him/her to come to the office to pick out a birthday book (from the PTO). If you are planning to bring in treats for your child's birthday, please observe the following changes:
All birthdays for the month will be celebrated on the 3rd Friday of the month from 3:00 - 3:20 PM. If you want to bring in treats for your child's birthday, please contact your child's teacher. All Birthdays for the month will be celebrated on the following dates:
August Birthdays = 8-21-09
September Birthdays = 9-18-09
October Birthdays = 10-23-09
November Birthdays = 11-20-09
December Birthdays = 12-11-09
January Birthdays = 1-22-10
February Birthdays = 2-19-10
March Birthdays = 3-26-10
April Birthdays = 4-23-10
May, June and July birthdays = 5-13-10
Please note that kindergarten and 1st grade will follow a different plan for their birthday celebrations. For instance, first grade celebrates birthdays during the student lunch hour. The teachers from kinder and first will inform you of their procedure.
